National Penn to move headquarters to Allentown and Expand in Wyomissing PA
National Penn Bank is moving its headquarters to Allentown and expanding in Spring Township Berks County.
The company is currently headquartered in Boyertown PA. It will bring 275 employees to downtown Allentown.
According to the company’s plan:
• National Penn’s new corporate headquarters will be located at Seventh and Hamilton Streets, at the new Two City Center building being built as part of the hockey arena development. The building is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2014.
• The company will continue to maintain approximately 150 employees in the company’s current buildings in Boyertown.
• It will also relocate approximately 125 employees to a new 48,000 sf. building in Spring Township, Berks County, which will be completed in the fall of 2013.
